I’m with you, not the most accessible album for me. I do like the Husker Du song Makes No Sense at All and Bob Mould’s solo stuff is worth a listen (The Silence Between Us being a highlight).
I just listened to The Silence Between Us and you are so right! I think this is becoming more of a project of compassion and opening my mind to new music. I would never have picked up Bob Mould without first being obligated to listen to Husker Du!
